Eligibility
Students that are members of the Sprague High School Orchestra are eligible to apply for scholarships from the Sprague Orchestra Boosters. The student must be enrolled as a Sprague High School Orchestra student. The student may be a member of any of the Sprague High School Orchestra groups. Student may be from any class (Freshman, Sophomore, Junior or Senior)
Criteria for Granting Scholarships
Scholarships will be issued based on financial need and the student's
participation in the Orchestra fundraising activities. Students that apply
for scholarships will make application to the Orchestra Music Conductor.
Scholarships may be used for:
a. Travel expense to domestic and International Orchestra Competitions.
b. Cost of Orchestra classes or lessons.
c. Cost of Orchestra workshops and honors group tuition and housing.
d. Buy or renting of Orchestra instruments.
Scholarships will be awarded directly to the student. Students must remain enrolled as a Sprague High School Orchestra student to receive the scholarship.
Selection for Scholarships
Selection for scholarships will be by the Music Conductor and the Sprague Orchestra Booster Executive Committee who will review and approve all scholarships.

Criteria for Granting Scholarships - Vienna 2005
Maximum amount awarded will be up to 50% of the Vienna trip cost to
any one student.
Maximum amount awarded will be a 2-to-1 match of funds in the student's
fundraising account (up to 50% of the Vienna trip cost).
